Our Story

Growing up on the shores of Lake Austin, we spent every summer swimming, boating, and exploring the crystal-clear waters of Central Texas. Over the years, we watched invasive hydrilla slowly take over the places we loved — choking out native life, blocking boats, and turning vibrant waterways into green, tangled messes.

We started Clear Lake ATX because we believe kids deserve to swim in clean, clear water — and that families shouldn't have to cancel a boat day because of overgrown weeds. What began as clearing hydrilla from our own docks has grown into a full-service aquatic weed removal operation serving homeowners, HOAs, and lakefront communities across the Austin area.

Unlike repeated chemical treatments that offer only short-term relief, our mechanical removal method targets hydrilla at the root — delivering a longer-lasting, more permanent solution at a fraction of the ongoing cost. No chemicals, no guesswork, just clean water you can actually enjoy.
